BLU-SWING at Billboard Live TAIPEI with JABBERLOOP HORNS

The first groove of spring begins with Taipei’s mellow evening breeze.

On April 5th, Japan’s leading alternative jazz band BLU-SWING returns to Billboard Live TAIPEI, officially welcoming the new season with an unforgettable night of rhythm and sophistication.

This is not traditional, hard-to-approach jazz. BLU-SWING blends urban pop sensibilities with electronic elements and soul music, creating a stylish and accessible sound that even first-time jazz listeners can easily enjoy.

Led by the silky and captivating vocals of Yuri Tanaka, the music instantly transports the audience into a relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere.

Since their debut album Revision in 2008, BLU-SWING has captivated audiences across Asia with their elegant and modern sound. Their achievements include top rankings at major record stores and performances at prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera House in London, solidifying their international reputation.

The highlight of this concert is the powerful special guest appearance.

From JABBERLOOP, trumpeter MAKOTO and saxophonist DAISUKE will join the stage as a special horn section. Both musicians are well-loved by Taiwanese audiences and have previously collaborated with hip-hop artist Soft Lipa.

Their dynamic energy will inject explosive momentum into BLU-SWING’s warm urban sound, creating a one-of-a-kind live arrangement exclusive to this performance.
